The Wisdom of Rumi

“Out beyond ideas of wrong doing
and right doing there is a field.
I'll meet you there.

When the soul lies down in that grass
the world is too full to talk about."
― Rumi

Quietly
open the eyes of the heart
see not the many, but the One

See the goodness
in each blade of grass
how green!

Each of us separate
in shape and form
yet how alike we are!

Just for a moment...
(and how long is that?)

...Let us not speak of the world of separation
but touch That which speaks
from within

  1. Another lovely blog Jennifer. I am feeling a tad overwhelmed by all the discussion / proliferation of views in all the various places, and appreciate your wise efforts to simplify and clarify it all.

  2. Thank you, I really appreciate this, Sandra! It is in times of conflict/stress/difficulty when it becomes most obvious to me how positively useful the Alexander Technique can be!
